This volume comprises two parts. Part I includes six chapters, taxonomic status, study history and taxonomic systems; the comparative morphology of aphids; the evolution of chaetotaxy of embryo and posterior embryo; biological characteristics of drepanosiphine; the zoogeographical distribution of drepanosiphine; the materials and methods.
In part II, a total of 135 species of family drepanosiphidae from China are reviewed. They belong to 47 genera which are grouped into 7 subfamilies as follows: Drepanosiphinae, Macropodaphidinae, Myzocallidinae, Neophyllaphidinae, Phyllaphidinae, Saltusaphidinae and Taiwanaphidinae.The index of Chinese name and scientific name, index from aphids to host plants and from host plants to aphids are provided.
