About this product

The Motic RED 100 Series of microscopes is the ideal range for primary and secondary school pupils. They are fitted with high quality EA objectives that provide good colour rendition and contrast, good field flatness and easy to read magnification shells. They have a stable body that is comfortable to use and well positioned focusing controls to help students become familiar with the use of microscopes. The RED 100 series has cordless LED illumination that has many advantages over traditional halogen lighting: LED bulbs provide a bright, white, even light with no heat, so they are safe to touch. They have lower power consumption and a long bulb lifetime of over 10,000 hours. One charge of the battery will last 70 hours, making them really flexible in terms of desk positioning.
