About this product

These large plankton nets have a stainless steel ring and welded lugs. It has a three-point harness with stainless steel shackles attached to the ring. At the end of the harness, there is an eye-to-eye swivel attaching a rope or chain. The net has an industrial nylon collar and reinforced seams. The net is 1.9 m in length and is finished with a 110 mm cod end screw-on filter which has the same mesh as the main body of the net.

Compatible accessories include our 250ml Bottle Connector, which allows you to connect our 250ml collecting bottle.

Please note: This net is not supplied with a tow rope, only the three-point harness. You will have to supply your rope or chain for attachment to the eye-to-eye swivel ring.

If using the plankton net in saline or brackish water, please rinse it in fresh water after use and dry thoroughly to protect the net and prevent cross-contamination between sampling sites.
